Process and Piping Design and Engineering in Ethanol Plant
AMG provided consulting and detailed engineering services for an energy reduction project in an existing facility that produces ethanol from corn in Mississippi. AMG applied process and piping engineering expertise and the knowledge of distillation and evaporations systems to support the construction of an energy and reliability improvement project.
Ohio Ethanol Plant
A specialty contractor enlisted AMG to support the construction of a corn-based ethanol plant in Ohio. Aspects of the project that engaged AMG’s expertise included fermentation and distillation as well as a challenging flotation cell. AMG provided consulting during project concept phase as well as detailed engineering services.
EPC for New Modified Wet Mill Facility
After providing front-end engineering, AMG provided design-build services for the construction of a modified wet milling addition to an ethanol facility in Wisconsin. The new process produces an ethanol feedstock from corn as well as high value corn co-products utilizing patented technology. The project had a capital value in excess of $25,000,000.
Ethanol from Barley
A contractor that specializes in industrial agricultural markets called upon AMG to support the construction of a large new plant that produces ethanol from barley. AMG provided detailed design and engineering plans as well as site CAD support and consulting throughout the project.
Relocation of Ethanol Plant
A leading grain agribusiness cooperative needed to relocate a corn-to-ethanol production plant from Tennessee to Nebraska. AMG performed detailed engineering and consulting on the relocation and reinstallation of the ethanol facility.
Portable Ethanol Dehydration Skid
A green-tech company that specializes in membrane technology engaged AMG to assist with a cutting-edge modular ethanol skid in Canada. AMG provided detailed engineering services to design a transportable membrane-based ethanol dehydration unit.
